Framework Presentation
The WebAvalia Framework is a tool that can be used to carry out peer evaluation in group works. It was conceived with the purpose to support teachers in their task to distinguish each individual’s contribution to a project’s final result, and therefore provide a fairer and easier assessment.
The platform allows students to evaluate themselves and their peers anonymously, taking into consideration their own performances, as well as the rest of the group’s. In that way, teachers can parameterize a set of variables, regarding that this evaluation method will occur in a series of different moments.
Process of Evaluation
The evaluation occurs during a certain time and requires the following of the timing to achieve the intended results.
